Think tank on the architects’ curriculum in Austria
Kick-off and expert dialogue
Experts and teachers met do inquire on the status quo of the architects education and training to today’s challenges.
Daniel Fügenschuh, president of the Austrian Architects’ Chamber, sums up the day: “We discovered that there are hardly any differences of opiion between the university teachers and the practitioners – the interests are the same. Together, we can take better action against many external constraints, such as the EU regulations on the time of study.” Further events in the same circle are planned to enable in-depth treatment of the individual topics. As a follow-up, surveys of universities and architectural firms will create an analytical basis for the topics discussed.
The national Think tank Architects’ curriculum has been initiated by the Chamber of architects.
