The Salon Comes to Your Home!
Invitation to the salon evening on 1 April, 8:00 pm
Given the current situation, we're holding our salon evening in virtual space. Even here, we preserve the special culture of encounter and communication through empathetic hosting.
Living and working with the pandemic –what changes are happening in and around us? What can we do right now? How can we support positive developments and perhaps preserve them for later?
Registration required –limited number of participants.
The Bregenz, Innsbruck and Vienna Salons for the Future are jointly inviting you on a journey spanning several weeks. We want to make a specific contribution to social closeness despite physical distance. New solution approaches often emerge, almost by themselves, through shared dialogue.
The diverse life contexts of the participating people provide the diversity needed for new perspectives. Let's sharpen our tools and our perception, as well as strengthen our appreciation and empathy.
A salon is a place of encounter where people communicate with one another, on equal footing, about what truly matters. Connecting with one another in inspiring conversations creates that special something –it opens up space for innovation and creativity. In the salon, the space between public and private, everyone is warmly welcome, and you don't need to know anyone. That's what we call "Salonhosting" –the reinvention of salon culture for today's world. Today, these places are in high demand, as a way to exchange one's own thoughts with others, away from public opinion, and try out something new, without immediately having to "prove yourself."
As your hosts for the evening, we will create a wonderful dialogue space with you and take care of the flow of the evening.
Relaxed arrival with aperitif and tech check from 7:30 pm
Start at 8:00 pm, our dialogue runs until around 10:00 pm and includes a short break.
As is salon tradition, we want to raise a toast together –please have a glass of wine, or another drink of your choice, ready for the salon evening!
