Content and Goals
The solution to complex challenges is often already present within companies and organisations. What's needed for this is the active participation of employees and stakeholders. This often takes more than technical further training — above all, it requires the professional know-how to design and strategically expand spaces for dialogue to further develop the organisation, as well as an attitude that allows leadership with less control and more room for emergence. This needs to be practised, and trust in the process itself needs to be learned.
Together we will interactively explore
Which method is effective in which context?
How should the framework conditions be designed?
What role falls to us as the initiator of such processes?
Together we will learn
how to make better use of the potential and diversity of employees and expert groups, both content-wise and strategically
how to involve customers, those affected, and other stakeholders, in order to arrive at sustainable solutions
at which point in a process which format makes sense (methods from the "Art of Hosting" approach, e.g. Storytelling, Pro Action Café, World Café, Open Space Technology, Appreciative Inquiry, Circle Dialogue, and others)
how to design meetings that are more efficient and more alive
which types of documentation are helpful for capturing and making the most of the results of interactive formats
Together we will experience
how to enable meaningful and efficient exchange among employees
how success already begins with the invitation process
how we can make good-practice examples easier for others to apply
In a small group, we create the necessary space of trust.
Target group
People who want to learn about working with emergence, participatory leadership, initiating and steering change processes, and planning and running interactive meetings and workshops.
Day 1 schedule
Working in and with change processes.
Method café on the different formats.
Joint dinner and networking evening.
Storytelling on successful application examples: Prof. em. Dr. Burkart Mangold and Mag. Ursula Hillbrand share their experiences from the St. Gallen Clinic and the European Commission.
Day 2 schedule
Input on dynamic process design with guided dialogue.
Examples and concerns from participants' own practice, with coaching opportunities.
Gathering the insights and closing.
Optional joint lunch and networking.
Trainers
Mag. Ursula Hillbrand is a strategic process facilitator and expert in participatory leadership processes.
Andreas Giesen, from Neuss near Cologne, is a change process guide and part of the Salonhosting team.
Mag. Sigrun Bohle, from Bregenz, is a strategic visualiser and member of the Salonhosting team.

Process facilitation
Mag. Ursula Hillbrand is a strategic process facilitator and executive coach for retreats, conferences and team building. She is a lecturer for the Executive Master programme at SDA Bocconi in Milan, at the European Academy for Taxes, Economics & Law in Berlin, and at the Federal Academy of Public Administration in Vienna.
She shares her many years of experience in performance management and participation at the European Commission with her clients as best practice. Together with her team, she creates tailor-made concepts, facilitation and trainings, to sustainably implement processes and change within her clients' companies and organisations.

Bus lines are also nearby. Good parking is available at the P5 Rathaus car park — simply follow the parking guidance system.
