Life in the Different Layers of the Iceberg II
Our excursions into the deep layers of the iceberg in Bregenz, Innsbruck and Vienna were very popular, successful, and rich in insight. That's why we're offering this overarching theme a second time — for anyone who missed it before, as well as for those who want to experience it again. Projects of all kinds that lead into the depths of a transformation — whether personal or within an organisation — have a place here again this time! We will also draw on the insights that have been gathered collectively so far, while still looking forward to new discoveries each time. Because every salon evening is different, shaped by the unique constellation of its salon guests! As a special treat, we'll end our salon evening with a drink on the ground floor, at the Café Brasserie Petrus, which officially opens on 28 February — so, in a sense, a pre-opening.
The good old iceberg model — who doesn't know it? Above the (water) surface, the "hard facts"; hidden below, the "soft facts."
Everyone knows it, many managers confirm it… Change has to do with culture, with an attitude, with behaviour.
Our environment is changing at a breathtaking pace, which challenges us in many areas of life. It's often hard to let go of what's familiar. And we often feel as though we're being changed, without being able to influence it.
"It's not that people don't like change. They just don't want to be changed," as Peter Senge tells us.
It seems we're lacking the constants that give us stability and security. How are we supposed to form a clear picture in times of fake news, alternative facts and a flood of information? There are so many viewpoints, and we're always tempted to measure the new against our own experiences and what we've encountered so far. That's why "the new" has such a hard time coming into life — because new is simply new, and not a reissue of the old…
As has been confirmed to us, a significant part of the solutions to the questions that move us lies below the surface. Let's dive together into the hidden layers through good conversation. On this evening, we open a space in which we can discover, together, the 90 percent that lies below the waterline, and notice how our "feeling" can become effective in the upper 10%.
Anyone who feels like experiencing exactly that, discovering it, and contributing to it, is warmly welcome! Bring your projects, ideas, questions, and we'll experiment together. A salon has always been a space for trying things out — inventing something new, with an appreciative attitude! That is exactly what our Salon 2.0 does again today. Exploring the new, in an appreciative environment.

A solution to a question that has been on my mind for a long time; clarity on a project that I'm still missing.
A framework for substantial dialogue, created using the Art of Hosting facilitation method "Pro Action Café." This makes possible exciting conversations with interesting people, in the diversity that is typical of our salon evenings.
Relaxed arrival at 6:00 pm, start around 6:15 pm. Our dialogue runs until around 10:00 pm. As is salon tradition, food and drink will also be provided.

The Bregenzer Salon is located in the heart of Bregenz and is easily accessible by bus and train. The stations "Bregenz Hafen" and "Bregenz Hauptbahnhof" are only a few minutes' walk away. Bus lines are also nearby. Good parking is available at the P5 Rathaus car park — simply follow the parking guidance system.
