Invitation to the Bregenzer Salon Evening

Dear friends of the salon,

we find ourselves in a time of change — that much is palpable everywhere, and can no longer be denied. Many of us are searching for a form of expression and are eager to actively help shape things. Others, in turn, simply feel overwhelmed by the changes of our time.

This creates parallel truths, which often get caught up in contradictions and conflicts, leaving us unable to act constructively and with a solution-oriented mindset. But how do we move out of this sense of powerlessness, and how do we manage to make a truly meaningful contribution within the dynamics of a changing world?

Our salon evenings address exactly this tension: they are dedicated to the space of transition, and offer people who are inspired, who hold a vision, who do pioneering work and who feel responsible for holding steady and tending to things, a place to act from a foundation of trust. Enriched with enough time and an appreciation for every stance, participants are offered the opportunity to see what already exists, to recognise what is no longer needed and, where appropriate, let it go, and finally to shape something new. With a brief introduction in the form of a map of change and transformation, we will explore in which role and stance we can best contribute. In doing so, we don't only welcome the new and the evolutionary; the old, with its values, is also given significance in times of transition. These salon evenings offer a protected space in which you can contribute, rethink your own context, and be inspired by others. We want to create and strengthen a new field of change, build on one another and make use of what is already there. Coming into action together, and thereby experiencing meaningful togetherness, are the cornerstones of our work. We, the salon team, take care of the space of trust and the methodical thread running through the evening. You bring your personal, socio-political, and — especially in the current situation — your political concerns, which we will discuss together with appreciation, using the power of collective intelligence, and transform constructively.

The Bregenzer Salon is located in the heart of Bregenz and is easily accessible by bus and train. The stations "Bregenz Hafen" and "Bregenz Hauptbahnhof" are only a few minutes' walk away. Bus lines are also nearby. Good parking is available at the P5 Rathaus car park — simply follow the parking guidance system.
