Invitation to the Open Salon Evening – Pro Action Café, 24 February, 7:00 pm

We're opening our 2017 Bregenzer Salon season with an overarching theme: Social Innovation.

Together, we want to explore what social renewal is needed right now, and how we can contribute to it — as responsible entrepreneurs, and as active citizens.

Social innovation has occurred again and again throughout history. In so-called "in-between times," a great deal of innovation and novelty originated from salons — places where, within a protected space, new ideas were conceived and tried out.

How do we create a new social culture in which we don't hold "the others," "politics" or "the system" responsible for what's wrong? Where are the points where we can get involved with concrete steps? Especially now, as trust in established institutions is fading, we need to think up something new ourselves.

Very much in the spirit of the salon tradition, we invite you to join us on 24 February in a setting ready for innovation, to meet and experiment together. The special mix of people from very different walks of life gives us the diversity needed for new perspectives. Our experienced team of process hosts creates the professionally designed space of trust and takes care of the flow of the evening.

The Bregenzer Salon is located in the heart of Bregenz and is easily accessible by bus and train. The stations "Bregenz Hafen" and "Bregenz Hauptbahnhof" are only a few minutes' walk away. Bus lines are also nearby. Good parking is available at the P5 Rathaus car park — simply follow the parking guidance system.
