Art of Hosting Female: A Participatory Leadership Training for Women
Language: The primary language of this event is German, but we welcome participants who prefer English if you feel inspired to join us!
After two successful trainings in Bregenz and Vienna earlier this year, we are thrilled to offer our third Art of Hosting training specifically for women. The enthusiasm, inspiration, and courage to initiate both internal and external change that emerged from our previous sessions have confirmed that this offering resonates deeply with the spirit of our time. The insights gained into “female leadership” were profound: moving from leading to enabling, and from sensing to leading.
This training experience offers a perhaps radically different approach to Participatory Leadership. As women, how do we live and sustain our own authentic leadership styles, even in turbulent times? How do traditional values and leadership concepts fit into today’s world, and how can we co-create the future? What does a living and working environment shaped by feminine qualities look like? How do we integrate our perceptions into our meetings, teams, and organizations? What restrictive patterns are generated by the patriarchal matrix, and what are the patterns of a sustainable, living matrix?
This time, we once again ask: How can we find and preserve our unique leadership style as women, even in challenging times? What narratives shape us, and in which stories do we want to live? What methods can we use to slow down decision-making processes, making them more effective and widely supported? How can the principle of self-organization lead to process designs that meaningfully connect diverse competencies? How can a vital organization utilize technology without becoming dominated by it?
In this seminar, we will open a resonance space where the forces of each individual and the collective become visible. We support each other on this special journey of discovery until the clarity that already resides within us emerges. We will draw inspiration from the courageous stories of remarkable women, helping us to tap into our inner strength and act from that center. You will receive tried-and-tested tools to navigate complex life situations with ease. Collective wisdom, empathy, and a keen sense of the future will be our valuable companions.
Over the course of our three-day training, we invite you on a journey of learning and experimentation, to fully engage in the development of our world and economy as we envision it. Together, we will learn and practice participatory conversation and leadership formats that enable us to navigate complexity with ease. These formats help us invite and hold the spaces where transformative conversations can happen, conversations that we know are capable of changing systems and creating holistic actions.
Approach and Methods:
The Art of Hosting is a rich collection of methods that invite participatory design, bring creative interaction into play, and provide access to the wisdom of the collective. These methods make meaningful, eye-level conversations possible. The accompanying Art of Harvesting is an approach that makes processes comprehensible for others. Both tangible and intangible outcomes are made visible through harvesting, enabling the transfer of implicit and less easily accessible knowledge, leading to innovation and fostering a shift in collective attitude.
Theory U provides us with a framework to remain present even in challenging situations and to lead from the future as it emerges. Our approach involves conveying dynamic content through storytelling and experiential learning. We alternate between circle formats, small group work, solo time, and journaling to reflect on and anchor our experiences.
Who Should Attend?
This training is for women who wish to lead and work in a holistic manner, and who want to have a more powerful impact within their organizations or society. Whether you are new to Art of Hosting or already practicing it, this training will enrich the exchange and help sharpen this approach from a female perspective.
